North Horizon 5.6" Deck - Derek Marr Signature

"What’s up, I’m Derek Marr. Born, raised and currently living in San Diego, CA. I’ve been riding scooters for 8 years now and I’m thrilled to be dropping my “first” signature deck! When North contacted me about working on a deck my first thought was to hit up a great guy by the name of Daniel Ray, and I was super stoked to hear that he was down to work with me! Big shoutout to him for the help on making this possible for me, without him I would have been totally lost. The idea behind the graphic wasn’t totally specific but I knew I wanted it to represent nature, hence why I had Daniel replicate a bit of Yosemite Valley in the foreground, a place I’ve loved since I was young. I also had Daniel throw in some more little plants and also let him go a little crazy himself. I have always been attracted to Daniels artwork, so I knew I’d enjoy whatever he added! Anyways, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to release my own signature deck as well as having a lovely graphic made by Daniel Ray. Big thank you to both North Scooters and Daniel for the chance to make this happen! I hope you enjoy, and I really appreciate anyone that ends up ripping it on one of my decks!"
